Some of the highlights of our trip were the Cape Town Peninsula tour and visiting the wineries, which were absolutely beautiful. We also loved all the incredible stops along the way where we saw amazing wildlife — from dolphins to wild baboons and so much more. Evan made every experience exciting, informative, and enjoyable. The van was always spotless, comfortable, and well stocked with refreshments, which made the long days of exploring even more enjoyable. May I start by saying that Evan of Star Africa Transfers & Tours is the consummate professional, so intelligent and friendly. He understands all of the ins and outs of South Africa and speaks 9 languages! We started our day thinking we wanted a half-day tour, but this turned into a full day tour of the southern peninsula. Evan pointed out all of the standard high points, as well as hidden gems along the way. He listened to what we were interested in and made suggestions for more. We even went shopping at an open air market, which was very fun. The tour included driving along the coastal highway, stopping for short hikes and photo opportunities. The highlight of our day was visiting the African penguin colony. A bonus is that Evan is an excellent photographer. He took beautiful pictures of the two of us as well as climbing out onto rocks to take great pictures of all of the penguins and seals. Tomorrow, we are taking another tour with Evan to botanical gardens and other hidden gems along the way in Cape Town. Five stars and kudos to Evan.
