Absolutely fabulous afternoon visiting the Apartheid Museum and Soweto. Maditi is such a wealth of historical information. Owens is the best driver! I was looked after like royalty and so appreciative of my experience.

We called upon the Wanderers with short notice after enjoying our experience with them in Cape Town. Sindy and Brian provided us with a very full day full of tours, experiences and extensive knowledge of Johannesburg. They were both great fun, and we would highly recommend using the Wanderers for your trip to South Africa - especially for your first visit! Thanks to Aziza for arranging everything for us. Had an amazing time with the Wandeer group. We had some time between flights and was looking for some activities (played golf and visited constitutional hill) Fareed was our driver- and took us to our sightseeing places. Easy to book , with quick responses and great advice from the team on what to do. Fareed was a great host with providing some insights into the area and got us back to our flights. Would highly recommend for any sightseeing tours or if you need a driver.

Our tour in Johannesburg was unforgettable . From the initial communication to the travel date , everything was smooth. The tour guide connected us to the South Africa's history from apartheid to Mandela's presidency in a way that really stuck . The architecture is wild and the stories are powerful . A group of 8 of us visited South Africa (Capetown and Johannesburg) and Zimbabwe in April 2025. We used Wanderer Tours and Travel who took care of all our needs - ground transfer, booking of hotel accommodation and tours etc. This company is incredible! They embody impeccable customer service. Wanderer worked with us every step of the way to ensure an unforgettable experience. Their input into our itinerary was very effective; the tour vehicles were comfortable and the guides were very affable and knowledgeable.. I have to mention Aziza, our point person. She personified patience and graciousness. She was very patient with the many changes we made in finalizing our itinerary. While in Johannesburg, when we wanted to make a last minute change to the itinerary, she graciously accommodated us. When we needed assistance to organize the Zimbabwe leg of our trip, Wanderer came to our rescue! I therefore unhesitatingly highly recommend Wanderer Tours and Travel.
