ILIOS Travel is a SATSA-member private transfer, chauffeur and touring operator with branches in Cape Town, Franschhoek, Hermanus, Plettenberg Bay, Gqeberha, Durban, Hazyview, Hoedspruit and Johannesburg, so the same company can move you between airports, lodges and cities right across South Africa. A fleet of more than 70 tracked vehicles runs from SUVs for up to three passengers to 8- and 12-seat minivans and 17-seat minicoaches, with child seats available at every branch and permanently employed, accredited chauffeurs and guides. Offices are open 06:00 to 18:00 daily with an after-hours emergency line at each branch; payment is by EFT or credit card, and French-speaking chauffeurs are available in Cape Town and Johannesburg. The Franschhoek branch was formerly Magnas Tours and Transfers, keeping its small-group Winelands wine tours, wedding transfers and airport runs.
Drivers are permanently employed professional chauffeurs and accredited guides — English-speaking throughout, with French-speaking chauffeurs available in Cape Town and Johannesburg. Each vehicle carries bottled water and all vehicle costs are covered.

We had a fantastic experience with Ilios Travel during our trip to South Africa. From start to finish, everything was well organized, professional, and seamless, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our vacation. We especially want to give a special shout out to Nadime, our guide. We went on two tours with him, and he was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely pleasant to be around. He shared fascinating insights about South Africa’s history, culture, wildlife, and local life, and he always took the time to answer our questions. We had the absolute pleasure of exploring the Garden Route with Henry, and he was hands down the best guide we’ve ever had. From start to finish, he made our trip unforgettable. His knowledge of the region, its history, culture, wildlife, and hidden gems was incredible, and he shared it all with such passion and ease.
