Franschhoek Vineyard Hopper, operated by La Rochelle Wine and Gourmet Tours (established 2000), offers a non-guided hop-on-hop-off transport service around the Franschhoek Wine Valley, as well as a private driver service covering Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Cape Town. Guests are collected from their accommodation and transported between wineries, breweries and restaurants at their own pace.
Drivers are described as part of a small, dedicated team; named drivers include Johan Barnard, Danelle Barnard, Aylmer Manko and Beverley Friedlinghaus. Drivers introduce guests to winery/brewery staff and remain on-site at each location ready to move on at the guests' leisure.
